I had my first on the road GTR sighting today. 11:30am I-81 north bound at the NY/PA boarder. I was in the left lane in Mom's silver Taurus going 80ish. Out of nowhere this purrty silver GTR is on my ass and I get out of his way ASAP. Once I'm back in the right lane he shoots past doing an easy 100+. Within 3 miles, he is on the side of the road having a nice talk with a smokey bear.
It was nice seeing one in action, it sounded sweet. It was even better seeing him nailed.
I had one on my ass on the DC beltway last week. Since I was already going 75 in the left lane, I did't move over. You leave the left lane during DC rush hour, you'll never get back in He sat back there for 20 minutes until I exited.... of course, I never let douchebags in expensive cars by when I'm in the WRX....
I have seen a few...There are alot of nice cars down here in the ATL. I have seen more NSX's than I ever did in Michigan.
there was one at the NCAC's ... it was running time only with multiple drivers (I was working that session) and it went past my work station in a blur of sight and sound ... it's big and heavy but oh so quick
We have a local that regularly autocrosses one up here in the PNW. Brutally fast car. It's usually in the top 5 raw times and has taken FTD on more than one occasion.
I've only seen pictures. I don't believe they exist.

The white one? Raced with them in Packwood. Got schooled hard. That thing is brutally quick!
They are fast and make very nice noises.

Saw one a week ago on I 95 in Ft. Lauderdale. Lot's of exotic cars here, but that one got my attention, more than a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

There's one in my town that I see once in awhile.
Saw another at a Ferrari/exotic show at a local dealership over the summer.
When I was in Vegas a few weeks back, there was one on display with all the other "rental exotics" displayed on the strip near the Imperial Palace.

hehe i see em running all over the place down here in san diego. I think they look better in person then in pictures. Rediculously big wheels.
On a similar note, I saw a Audi R8 running around Huntsville. It has the opposite problem for the GTR. The Audi looks better in pictures then in real life. I didn't realize how ugly they were. Same for the Porsche 4-door thing. It is horrible looking.

I haven't seen one yet. Will keep my eyes--and ears--open, though.

I pass one nearly every work day - it goes the opposite direction that I do every morning. It is always a median away from me - but from the quick glimpses I get of it I also think they look better in person that in pictures. Looks like a ricer version of a G35 coupe or a 350z with a body kit. Too much like this:
The shape still doesn't do anything for me and if were to spend that kind of money on a car it wouldn't be on a GTR. I would plunk down the cash for an Exige way before a GTR even without driving either. Of course if I had $80k plus to spend on a car I would go test drive them all.
There's a couple that race at Texas World Speedway occasionally. They're not slow by any means, but they're not the fastest cars out there.
I have seen 2 on the road and 4 sitting at dealerships.
This one (of two) was for sale at Continental Nissan (Chicago area) two weekends ago when the Windy City Z Club held a luncheon/show afternoon.

240Z sweetness. My favorite.
I saw one in Pittsburgh at the PVGP. Which was odd because Pittsburgh is not exactly a mecca for exotic cars.
I've seen one driving up 101 between Navato and Petaluma, a couple at the local Stealership (with a $20k dealership just-because-we-can markup, no less), and another one when I went up to Washington.
They're HUUUGE cars. Bigger than my Mustang. I'd love to drive one, had I the money I might consider leasing one, but I don't think I'd ever want to actually own one - I can't even imagine what it's gonna be like to keep those things running 10 years down the road (I'm imagining it'll be a lot like the space shuttle program).
And, as others have said, there are many other cars I would choose to spend my hard-earned money on before a GTR. Easily-got money might be another story, but I still imagine that I'd buy a ZR1, Ford GT, or 2000 Cobra R before I picked up the Datsun.

Yep, that's the one. More of an off-white or pearl though.

I can't imagine a GT-R being light enough on its feet to be very happy cone dancing.
I've seen two - a black one and a silver one - around town, and it's not a special town, either. The black one I've seen multiple times and I believe it is local.
I saw a stock one with paper plates run an 11.3 quarter mile at Edgewater.
I have video up on streetfire somewhere of it's run.
