If you haven't seen this video yet, check it out at the link below. To jump ahead to the Cobra content see 3:37 and 5:26. That car sounds amazing.
On a related note, I am always amazed at how small these cars are. I saw an actual GT40 at an SVT show several years ago and I towered over the car standing next to it at about 40" to the roof line.

15,000 hours. That is 7.5 years of full time job dedication. And he takes it out on the track.
And he drives it like he stole it from his ex's mother!
It's amazing that he really does drive it hard after allnof the work he has done, knowing that ANY bump or bang is going to take a LOT of work to fix

Yeah, but he KNOWS that he can fix it no matter how bad he balls it up!
I'm going to have to watch it over lunch but from what I skipped through that's amazing. I also apparently have another decent channel to subscribe to, which is always good.
Okay watched it. That's amazing.
I love the raw brushed finish with stripes and Gulf logos being polished.
Plus he drives it in anger. Much respect.

I'm stunned.
I'd kill for 1 tenth of that talent.
This was definitely one of the better car videos I have seen and this guy's fabrication skills are off the charts IMO.

Are the dimensions of that car off a little or is it my eye?
The back lid area looks off. Like it slopes off more than it should.
Damn son! I've changed my mind.
I want to be like HIM when I grow up!
We should all be so lucky.

Good video, but I'd like to see a longer version to learn even more about how that guy did the work. To think he formed and shaped all those panels is impressive.
I love built cars that are driven in anger-good for him
See the link for some more information on his build.

In reply to sesto elemento:
Nope - I actually am tillerman because I love using a rototiller in my large gardens!
Can't wait to see his Dino 206
