Has anyone got experience autocrossing on Hankooke Ventus Evo V12's? That just has to be the silliest name ever given to a tire! I'm looking for starting recommendations for a heavy (3,200lb) FWD street tire stock autocross car (Volvo C30) I've had the tires a while, but this is my first event on them. This weeks lot is sealed asphalt and next weeks is smooth, relatively fresh concrete.

thanks for any tips.

Maybe only a close second to the Hankook Ventus RS2 Z212

I haven't used those exact tires, but i tend to run mine at 34psi/37psi f/r.

For something like that, I'd probably run high 30s (38~39-ish) in the front.

Mid 30s (34~36-ish) in the back.

These would be the HOT tire pressures, taken after a run.

I have those same tires on my Miata and I run them both just under 40 psi HOT for warmer track days.

I run a different tire on a slightly lighter car, that said, my pressures were 40 f and 35 r, adjusted to that after each run, 'til they stayed there on they're own

I have always run around 40psi. front and rear. The higher rear pressure tends to loosen a FWD car.

the higher rear pressure will help loosen FWD car, some even go the opposite direction and greatly reduce the rear pressure (the down side is the chance of the tire "rolling over" due to low pressure)

my staggered pressures are due to the large rear bar...
