F1 had it all wrong.

Unless.... This guy has a CRJ-900 engine mounted in the rear...

So you're saying: If she weighs as much as a duck, she is made out of wood, and is therefore a witch?

No, it's so when you have your FWD set up suspension-wise to be able to turn at low speeds, you can use the rear spoiler(1) to lock the back end down so the car isn't massively scary at high speed.

It's like balancing jets vs. air bleeds. One thing has an effect everywhere, while the other only has an effect at one end of the curve.

I did get a massive kick over the Honda with the front wing at the rallycross nats... the course was not very fast, certainly well below the speed where aero could come into play, the car was way underpowered besides, and the kicker? It was a TINY wing. I do have... ideas... for wings, but if you look at what is used at autocross speeds ( looks to A Mod for influence ), you'd see that nothing out of the APC catalog is going to cut it. But first I'll need something with over 500hp so i can puch through the aerodynamic wall, and AWD so it can still do something useful before the aero can kick in. And variable geometry rocker-based suspension, so the suspension can work at low speeds and still not bottom out when there's 3000lb of downforce.
