And hell, maybe you might benefit from the outcome of a circle jerk. It would certainly help you loosen up a bit.

Well, there might be a political matter, but that's in the UK . Having been a member of a couple of car clubs in the UK, I can appreciate how much work they've likely put into this. Especially given how car meets are frowned upon over there[1]. And that's before we get to the current restrictions over there and the looming threat of another lockdown.
Is it my thing? Most of the time not, but I'd probably go for a lark anyway if I was in the UK (which would be the proper British attitude towards such an event).
[1] Those car park meets that happen here in the US, where the cops show up and tell everybody to disperse, or else? In the UK, they don't tell people to disperse and instead hand out ASBOs[2] like confetti. Which has killed off a lot of car meets including even a few cars&coffee type meets. I think this was also one of the reasons why one of the really big Honda meets in the UK (South Mimms) ended up having to decamp to some sort of official-ish event space instead of meeting up at the South Mimms service station like they used to.
[2] "Anti Social Behaviour Order" - aka "what you're doing is not illegal, but me, Lord Copper and the local NIMBYs frown upon it so here's a piece of paper that says it's illegal from now on specifically for you. Don't let the door catch your behind and don't fall down the station steps". Originally invented to curb "antisocial behaviour" (mostly on council estates, aka the UK version of "the projects"), but very handy for any sort of thing that might result in a raised eyebrow from the "right" people.

Member who likesto start off-kilter posts that are questionable quite often starts with an inflammatory title and then gets butt-hurt when people point out he's being rude. OP then goes farther off the deep end and is now apparently offering handies in cars.
My shiny happy person is a little rusty, so some of that may not be correct. I haven't spoken fluent shiny happy person in a while and you know what they say, if you don't use it you lose it.
I came here for dragon content, was promised politics instead, and I've received neither. Disappointment all around

I think it's someone seeing how far they can push things.

Then get mad and leave for the third time.
I went to an "event" like this probably 20 years ago at the Nurburgring , No idea now how many VW Golfs were lined up it it was a lot , I might have been the 25th anniversary of the Golf.
I think the record at the time was Citreon 2CVs
I hope its a sunny day :)
The real question is if "he's not interested in" and he thinks "it's a huge waste of time" why did he bother even posting it anything. Maybe his mother never told him if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all.

Seems like he's interested in massive time sinks such as trolling internet forums. He certainly lives up to his forum handle.
An event like this seems like it would be really cool to attend. I wonder what the logistics of making something like this happen in the States would be like. Would it even be possible?
