Only real good reason that I have been on the hunt is that my buddy had one. it was lowered, on Borbets. And how I loved that car..... 82 (i think) Volvo 242 Turbo. Looked to be right out of an early 80's yurrupean accessory or wheel brochure.

Volvo's are really popular in Colorado and the west coast. Find a nice one and fly out and drive it home to where ever you live. Get a wagon. I once was planning on doing just that but I need another car like I need another hole in the head.
Back in the day, everyone had a Volvo 240. At one point, both of a friend's parents had them–wagons, too.
I once worked with someone who had one of those Bertone chopped coupes.
You probably want one with fewer zeros on the end, but here's at least one.

Now with fewer zeros and more rust holes!

Same boat here Brother. But I will leap if the right one of these shows up.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
Nice enough car and sounds like the guy has done a lot of the things an old car needs. But I perceive this as more of a 7K car than a 17K car...
