So I've read in a few places the converting to a heated O2 will get you into closed loop faster resulting in better MPG and driveabilty when cold. Application is OBD 1 GM w/TBI injection.

What say the forum?

I am having a heated O2 sensor issue on the RX50, it is fooling the computer and will require some adjustments. They can just create more trouble.

adding a heated o2 is only helpful when the location of the unheated o2 is to cold.
we did it on a 3.1 camaro to help it's running. it's questionable as to whether it really helped alot or not.
I'm of the opinion that it wasn't worth it.
