205/50 on 8" makes some sense. That's about perfect on 7". At 8" the sidewall would be stiffened nicely for drifting.
One of the funnier moments I had discussing stretching with a drifter was after he put 185's on like 15x9 wheels on a Miata. He accused me of starting a "why would anyone stretch tires" rant. I had to inform him that I was actually starting a "why would anyone run crappy 185's on a sportscar" rant.

Jeez... I'm on crappy all seasons, but at least their 195's.
I wonder where those tires came from? If they are what i think they are, they are long discontinued.
i just came up with a awesome business idea. Start a wheel company, sell super wide wheels with beads set closer to the center so these deutcshe-bags can safely have the stretched tire look without the danger of running super stretched tires.
