I came across these "racing seats" on CL but I can't tell if they are aftermarket items or if they were production items. I asked the seller and he said he couldn't find anything on the seats to identify them.
Maybe one of you knows what they are.
Thank You

They look like cheap generic seats to me. Not a bad deal, but why is the guy such a dick and so lazy as to not clean the seats!
Damp cloths are hard to come by. Maybe they have them at the flea market.

Armor All is expensive, yo..
Looks like recaro seat adjusters and on the 4th picture, there is something in white on the plastic at the bottom right where it should say Recaro.

Ya exactly. Spend 5 minutes and clean them up. Price seems high to me for those.
"I won't get mad".
They look like they would be comfortable and the hardware/adjusters look to be higher quality.
They look like a Recaro SR Series seat, but they're not. Chinese I'll bet. A picture of the underside would confirm it.
Thank you guys. I keep looking for seats (Recaro, Sparco, Corbeau...etc) and all I see is either junk or people asking for more $ than what they sell for new.

Wasn't there a flood of Chinese knock off ricer parts during the height of the Fast&Furious & modified Civic era? Some of that stuff looked pretty convincing from a distance. These seats likely fall into that category.
BTW, everybody automatically thinks Chinese knock off always equals junk, some of it wasn't all that bad. It might be worth a trip to go check them out, then make a low ball offer.
yep ebay, craigslist chinese knockoffs
First, seller sounds like an shiny happy person I wouldn't want to deal with.
Second, probably knock off, and the 4 point reinforces that suspicion.
$250 will get you a new pair shipped on ebay.
Be patient and watch for real seats. I've got 3 sets of older Recaros and a pair of Viper seats. The most I paid was $150 for one of the Recaro sets.
