and that's all I'm giving you. I want this to be based purely on looks. Which do you like and why?
Top, looks less busy
I also know they are fairly light weight.
That said, Ive held off from getting a set on my MR2 because Im not a huge fan of them. But I do not care for the bottom set of wheels at all.
I vote for the bottom one, with no other context. Of course, the car matters. I never really liked the RPF in silver. I think of an RPF as a functional choice, since they're pretty light. It does look better in other colorways, IMHO.
Most of my wheel choices are based on two questions:
Is it easy to clean?
Is it not gold?
I'm going with the top one.
Loads of NCs on RPF1s. They're not my favorite wheel for the platform looks-wise - but out of those two, it's the winner.
stock wheels, then painted rose gold. I like gold/bronze/brown wheels. I hate chrome. I am leaning away from the rpf simply because everyone has them. The other problem I now see with the rpf is the Center caps are extra ($35 each!). They also cost more than the Hypergrams. And the RPFs require special lug nuts for the nc

This being a 5x4.5 bolt pattern, that is a possibility that is far more interesting than RPF1.
I'm a big fan of RPF1s. When I was looking at a NC those were on my list. The Konigs came up too and were a little cheaper. Somewhere on the webs is a red NC2 with gold/bronze konigs and it might have convinced me.
in other words, you can't go wrong. I'm cheap so I would buy the cheaper ones.
edit: this one. Hot. Dog.
I prefer the RPF1s, especially on an NC. Koenig makes some nice wheels but those are very much not my favorite. They are not parallel-spoke but they are not un-parallel enough to look intentional. The spokes just seem to be haphazardly spaced around the rim.
I like bronze wheels but don't like gold. And I'm with you I hate chrome and even hyper silver.
Top wheel in the bronze color. If that's not an option, then the bottom wheel. I hate cleaning silver wheels.

Ok that's pretty convincing. Anymore shots of that car?
alas... those only come 17x7.5 and way wrong on the offset. Not meant to be.
