I mentioned a rollback trailer I am bringing back to life and one of the least items is making a receiving hole for the two side located pins.

There is a 1.25 wide 1.75 tall and 1.75 deep hole that look like it was plated with a steel plate that probably just had a hole in it.  The plates are long gone and I’m thinking that a bushing might be better than just a hole in a steel plate.

So im looking for a bushing that has a 5/8” Id steel sleeve in the middle and 1.25 od outer steel sleeve that I can make a mount for.

Alternatively, maybe I get a 5/8” id pipe, and pour some sort of bushing into the hole in the trailer and locate the pipe in it.

Make sense?  What would work the best???

a few pictures as unclear as my idea  the pin is offset here but is just out of position:

Go find a Metelastic joint catalogue (used for instance in leaf spring eyes) and see if you can get one that suits your sizes.
