I've just learned my Metro has the same bolt pattern as my 323 GTX, so I think I will go the true grassroots approach and use borrowed wheels and tires on my Challenger. I really don't need to spend more change right now, but I do need to put a number in my budget.
The wheels are off-brand after markets. They are cheapos with some curb rash, but they are +1 size, and fairly lightweight, and wider than my OEMs
They are wearing Kumho Ecstas about 60% worn.
Any thoughts?
What if I just use the wheels and mount new tires?
no more than $200. i paid $125 for a set of probe GT 16x7 OE wheels with V700s that were old but not worn.

Umm..
If I average those, it's $100.50.
If I drop the high and the low, it's $0.

If you call them brake lines, it would be $0.

I would say $125 or $150 also, depending on what generation Ecstas they are.

4 - used Kumho brake lines with rubber attatched - $0.00
$100 sounds right. I'd say the tires are gimmes. FMV for the wheels @ $25/ea.?

was at the JY this weekend looking for a fuel pump and noticed some old mags on a datsun that looked like they'd be better than what I currently have. asked about price and he said that each wheel and tire was $25 for steelies and $35 for alloys. ended up being too narrow but i'd say $140 would be spot on for your FMV.

That's funny. Touche!
I probably shouldn't have said that. I was looking for a serious answer.

I'd say somewhere in the ballpark of $150 would be fine for a set of four. Scrap value is going to be $60.

I've sold a lot of metro and 323 rims lately and if they are 14's or 15's I would say $125-$150. The tires would depend on which estca they were. V710's or other R's are worth a lot more than 712's or other street tires.
we get $40 a wheel for scrap up here if they're alloy, used tires on your car replaced by other equally used tires should be a wash, so who'd question $150-160 for the FMV?
