While there are a number of members that have opted for plywood or alumalite for construction materials, I'm hoping that enough of you may have opted for the sexier stuff: carbon fiber.
I did a quick search through old posts and found links to www.fiberglast.com and www.sollercomposites.com
www.carbon-fibergear.com has a "starter kit" for $99 that may be a great starting point but going forward, I'd love to have a resource for buying materials in larger quantities with less market up.
At this point I'm looking for the lowest budget options. Can anyone recommend other sources?
Thanks in advance!

I have used these guys a bunch when I was in school.
Also personally my favorite epoxy I have used is from West Systems.
Wicks Aircraft has cloth for reasonable prices as well

I came hear to link Dragonplate but someone beat me to it.
But carbonfibergear has no dash in it.
Ive never bought any stuff, but another thread linked to this thread for a video tutorial on how to make a CF hood. They also sell materials, don't know how prices compare though. http://www.easycomposites.co.uk
ACP Composites and The Composite Store too.....

They sell CF 2x4's. Who needs tree's anymore?!
After trying a few places, I settled years ago on:
Aircraft Spruce
I don't need a million different things, just +- 6oz carbon cloth, 1/8"+1/4" foam core, stretchy bagging film, some release+bleeder ply, mastic tape. They have it all, cheaper than most, always good quality, fast good shipping, and the option to roll or fold on all materials.
I bought a set of molds for all the body parts for my Radical Prosport, including the difuser. I got enough stuff to make 2 for under $500. Difusers from Radical are $800 shipped. I'm making a mold for the unobtainium carbon splitter + crush box, and will be offering bodies/difusers/splitters/crush boxes next year when the new SCCA sports racer rules make for a class where they're useful.
Thanks for the responses guys! I really appreciate it!
I watched the Easy Composites UK videos on youtube a few days ago. They are great. They're starter kit is almost as expensive as the kit I priced out and that's before shipping.
Motomoron, thanks for the comparison in prices between what you were able to get material for vs. what they cost.
I really appreciate the help guys!
