I'm looking at plates in a couple categories for my 1999 corvette
Track/car lingo-
LT APEX
OVERSTR
Making fun of myself-
BLKFLAG
CHICANE
POINTBY
Geeky stuff-
XWING
RED TWO (wedge antilles)
One with a meaning-
CICADA (This is my 2nd c5, 17 years apart)
Things I'm not really interested in-
Braggy stuff I might not live up to
Things that just identify the brand, model, engine, etc.
Any votes? Pic for inspiration.
ROADBLK
L8APEX or L8-APEX - so no one think lieutenant
L8BRAKE
SPINOUT
you can't have "dunce car" my corvette earned that nickname :)
How about "RLELAW" or RULELAW for theruleslawyer?
I like Cicada but you could also do 17YRITCH or 17 year itch

On a self deprecating note how about
R2-P2 as in Red 2 Position 2.

This one is quite popular, but there is already a vette with this plate at the track days I frequent. probably a no go.

Interesting... though I can't mix numbers and letters. Its up to 7 letters, but I can start with a number, which eliminates some ideas I had unfortunately.
add the word "Problems" after your car number and make the plate "AINT 1"

In reply to theruleslawyer :
Maybe go with NotFast in deference to all those goobs with 2Fast4U plates.
In all seriousness, I am partial to POINTBY.

I like the self-deprecation of POINTBY too.
