My car will be a fun cruiser and will hopefully see more Lemons/LDR racing in it's future. The engine should make ~300ft*lbs and the car should weigh ~3000lbs. I will have a little bit of mechanical disadvantage from my master/slave arrangement. I've got a 250mm Z31 flywheel and need to mate it to a Z32 5 speed. I'm kinda budget minded, but also realize that I don't want the cheapest option that slips after the first full boost pull. I see plenty of options from OE replacement D21 clutches up to 300ZXTT unsprung 4 pucks. I read that most aftermarket clutches, regardless of name, are made in one of a few factories, but also that the cheap clutches are just that, cheap.

Any advice?

I'm confused, I thought you were using a diesel engine in this car lol.

When we had our Z32 lemons car with the GM 4.8 and the stock Z32 non turbo transmission we used a stock replacement clutch and it held up to the V8 just fine.  I think we had a Luk, maybe an exedy.  That same engine/trans/clutch combo is going into our RX7 as my teammate crashed the Z hard.

Stock replacement is what I like to hear. I think Luk is even offered on Rockauto. Sweet!

Yes, yupididit, it's diesel but with a VG adapter plate.
