I would get the 944!
I have it in my drive way
A few things I leaned on the 15 minute drive home after a stop for gas and some air in the tires.
1) no amount of wax is going to save the paint ont he hood.
2) !! those are Yokohama A520 Tires!
3) Eclectric controls to driver seat are broken awkaward driving angle right now, that will need to be fixed soon.
4) After driving my pick up truck, it strikes me that this thing is LOW to the ground.
5) I have had a 924S in the past. This car just feels "meaner".
I washed and waxed in the dark in the driveway, I wonder how it will look in the light.
Pictures to follow.
My 16 year old son thinks that it is "his car". PFFFFT NOT!
Guess how much I paid for it?
$2002.43 you read that right.
I offered $2000 and at first he said no. I told him that I had already been to the bank and had the cash and if he wanted more then I would have to wait. he said, OK, but I get whatever change is in your pocket. I had 2 One Doller bills and 43 cents in change so I gave him all of it. We laughed and he signed th title.
That is a sweet score! Nicely done. That body work isn't bad at all. At least you can drive yours - I've started pulling the engine on mine. Got it running after sitting for a year and fould all sorts of fun oil leaks. Go have fun with it!
Can't the kid just buy his own Porsche with all the money he made on those AT&T commericals?
Great score! So it is going to be the only Porsche at the Challenge? ;)
Well bought!
Looks like a nice car, and I reckon grey/gun-metal is one of the best colours for a 944.
Awesome!
Will you be at any of the upcoming Rantoul events? There is a good chance Dad and I will have traded cars which means I should be at a few of them.

The paint code is for "Dimond blue matallic" It has spent some time in the sun. It looks Grey to me too.

Nice score.
My 911 is Diamond Blue Metallic, too, but I call it Gray. I almost never see any blue in it unless it's inside the garage. Also, the color is nearly impossible to photograph accurately.
