The tire selection in a 13" size is abysmal. The last tires I put on were terrible in the wet when new, And except for the hit and miss kuhmo the only other options come from China.
So to that end I'm looking to upgrade to 15" wheels for a much better tire selection.
I have narrowed it down to these;
Con. It's 8" wide, offset is on the aggressive side, with a 205 tire on it I feel it'll be leaning more toward the stance crowd. Modern design on a classic car.
Pro. It's the lightest wheel at a little over 13#, it's also the cheapest.
Con. Still 8" but even more aggressive offset.
Pro. More classic look.
Con. Not sure how it will look on an E21
Pro. Favorite style of wheel. 7" with a much better offset.
On a 15x7 wheel I need an et13. The Kosei is a 15x8 et20. The OG is 15x8 et25. The Konig is 15x7 et10.
What would you do?
Black, it'll hide the brake dust.
It's similar to the wheels I just looked at for the SC.
I don't like gold wheels on anything and I've had two sets of Rewinds, so my vote goes to them. I liked the quality of the wheels, though I was disappointed with the center caps, so I just left them off.
Why not some cheap OEM wheels? There are a lot of options with the 4x100 bolt pattern.

Once black wheels get to be about a day old, they start to look like E36 M3 on every car.
In reply to EvanB:
sure lots of 4x100 but very, very few with a 67.1 hub bore and an et13 offset.

R888's?
205/60/13 or 185/60/13
These are AWESOME. Enkei Compe. Not sure about you car, but these would look awesome on a 1st gen RX7. Gunmetal is my favorite.
Yes to the "minilite" style...might look at Rota RBs as well.

konig rewinds are at a good price point for minilite/panasport style wheels
the weaves are always a solid choice too.
The OGs are actually the least agressive offset, and a 205/50 looks just fine on an 8" wheel. In fact, 949 Racing recommends it.
In reply to Swank Force One:
Your right, I'm wrong. I just don't want to have to run spacers on it. TireRack has it listed and I guess as conservative as they are with fitments I guess it would be good to go.
Tire Rack fitments usually leave you with miles of room so have at it!

Meh... too "tuner" for me.
Ew. Not my style
Yes. Yes. I just drooled in my pants a little.
I ran Momo Mille Miglias on my E30 and loved them. They kinda look like squished minilites.

I'll also respectfully disagree Woody. Mine look practically new after 2 years of hard use (cheap Rotas too).
I have noticed that some flat black finishes can look pretty shabby. I think some people do a crappy DIY job on those quite a bit though.
To the OP - I vote RB's or those AWESOME Enkie Compes.
No.1 for performance, No.3 for looks.

I guess I sort of mis-spoke. When they're new and clean and you're a few feet away, they can look great. But as you get a little further back, they either look dirty or steel. Especially on the track.
But, in deference to Novaderrik, those wheels on a black Regal, are the only way to go.
MInilites, Panasports or rewinds look good on just about any car and trucks, too. Its a magical wheel design.
I like woven wheels on most Beemers, so the OGs get my vote.

your opinion is wrong
I think the reason I'm stuck is because I'm not overly in love with anything that will fit. I'd love a set of BBS RS's but those are way out of my price range.
Let me throw a couple more at you and see what you think
Available in black and white also.
Available in black and gold.
Different look for the OG's can get it in black as well.
Available in solid white, white with a machined lip, and gold.
I have to admit I like gold with a polished or machined lip. Of note the car will be painted black after I finish all the bodywork.
Something that drives me crazy about some of these is the fake bolts. They are not three or two piece wheels. Why put the fake bolts on there. I may not be able to get over that issue.
