We have collector plates that require original radios etc.

 

One Jensen I did, I sawed off the front plate on the OEM Lear Jet 8 track, soldered hinges on it and installed it in the hole in the dash with a magnetic latch. Looked dead stock, but open it up and you could install whatever modern deck you want to.

This little guy kicks butt.  If you're looking for cheap and easy, mount it under your dash and bluetooth connect from your phone, or use the aux jack.  Runs off 12V car power.  Please excuse the duck tape residue, it was on the side of my computer.

 

Edit:  The part number isn't readable.  It's a MCM 50-14845.  And I just went looking for them and they've doubled in price.  This is another option - I've got three of them around the house and they're cheap and sound good and have lots of power.  Bigger than the little MCM though.
