I am going to be putting the ZHP up for sale in a couple months and really don't know where to start for an asking price. Car is a 2003, has 105k and is probably 95% as far as cleanliness. No issues what so ever, interior is spotless. It is one of those strange cars that seems to draw more than its KBB would suggest, any thoughts?
$11. When do I pick it up

Search completed auctions/sales on eBay.
Asking price will also depend on how quickly you need to sell.
$15 and a case of beer!
Seriously though, I'd got to some of the commercial sites and see what the average price is for any ZHP you can find. Then adjust accordingly to how you feel its condition is compared to the other cars. Or price high and have room to negotiate.
See if car max has one and go from there.

A nice one about like that just sold for $9k on these boards, IIRC. That one had the cooling system gone through before sale and seemed very up-to-date on maintenance.
What is a ZHP? Make and model would help.

Its a 2003 BMW 330i ZHP.....supposedly the closest you get to an e46 M3 sedan.
Based on previous sales I've seen, your best bet is to take a 325i of similar age, mileage, and condition, and triple it. Maybe double a sport package 330i.
Only kind of joking, that probably wouldn't be too far off. It's crazy how much the cams and appearance package add to the value.

On a recent local car forum, a lot of members actually told me they figured that as a daily driver, the 330i zhp was superior as its maintenance costs/intervals were more inline with a used german car compared to the finicky nature of the e46 m3.
Apparently is has a quicker steering ratio to boot!
Where do I send my deposit?

haha thanks guys, it'll be up for sale in September and I'll be sure to list it here for a special GRM only price. Should have round 115k miles on it at that point. Previous owner did a ton of maintenance, all new cooling system, DISI etc etc. I absolutely love it but with another baby on the way I need something with a little larger back seat.
It is a sexy bitch
Yeah, it's a close-ratio 6 speed. Different box than the M3, it's the same final drive as the 5-speed, IIRC.
I'm sure that thing will fetch a pretty penny. People pay good money for those.

Black Book is most Dealers, KBB is most marketing, NADA is most banks
Enjoy!
Sounds like an 11-12K car with $9500 being the I want to unload it quick price. Clean versions of these go quick.

Just an example. I know it's ebay and that is not necessarily the sold price.
I've kept an eye on them and they have bottomed out mostly for clean and well kept ones. They run between 7-11K depending on miles. I'd start it at 11K and then go from there.
Check the ZHP mafia forums. Members post up NMNA ads for all the ones they find for sale. Lots of data points in one place

Thanks, that is a pretty comparable car to what I have.
