Help save the autocrossing in Huntsville, AL. The current location of the autocrossing is getting redone and no one is seeming to care about the club that has been using the park for a long time to run autocrosses and the driving school that is done every spring. So if you could help vote this up on the site discussing possible uses for the park that would be great. You do have to register for the website just a warning.

Welcome to the modern world.
How about the NASA Spaceflight Center parking lot? That should be pretty empty....
I just tried; couldn't log in with my Google ID.

I couldn't get past the captcha to register. I tried it several times. Sorry man.
Well that sucks... Oh well thanks for trying.
Same thing...I have a Google, Yahoo, and Linkedin acct, and none work, invalid token whitelist whatever...Good thing is that youre up 39 to 4 to vote it up!
Good luck

I tried it again in a different browser, but no luck. The "register" button grays out after the first try. I even tried the audio captcha, but it was completely unintelligible on my speakers.
I'm not sure how involved you are with that site, but as web designer myself I'd consider that a pretty serious problem.
Also, worthy of note, from the post:

A public hearing on the proposed plan will be held by the Planning Commission on Novemeber 20, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Everyone is welcome to speak at that meeting and voice their opinions in person.
I am not involved with the website. It is a website the city put up to get ideas of what to do with the park. I was able to vote using Firefox at work but I had to create an account with Imagine Huntsville.
I would bring this up to the SCCA, seems like they have a presence there from other comments in the link. They may be able to help focus support on the issue on a larger scale.

I got the link from the local autocross board.

I am also from Huntsville and an avid autocrosser.
I thank you for your vote.

Which is both the local autocross club and local chapter of SCCA club combined website. I'm a member and already made my vote. Unfortunately the city has made its decision and ignored the votes completely since we had more votes. Typical
