A guy wants to trade me a 1999 miata. It has 90k miles, leather interior, a sport s suspension, and a hard top. Apparently it needs a soft top. Looks decent from the pictures. Silver with tan.

What would something like that sell for?

3200-4000

Add 800 outright for hardtop.

As the owner of a 2000 Miata with similar mileage, I'd say that sounds about right.

That's kind of what I figured. He wants to trade me for a 2003 mustang GT with 125k miles. I am asking $5300 for the mustang. He is offering me the miata and $500.00.

I figured the hard top was worth $800 to $1000.

I might be interested if you get it and want a quick flip.

With the miles on it and the hardtop, a Miata like that would go for 4-5k where I live.

I'd say $4k-$4.5k including the hardtop, assuming no rust and generally good condition and maintenance.
