Hi guys,

I need to have a set of tires shipped from SF to Niagara Falls. My friend who's sending them says that all the couriers want close to 100 per pair to ship. UPS told him that the trick to cheap shipping is a business account. Can anyone help me out? Everything's packed up and ready to go.

Thanks! D

They can't break 'em.

I shipped four tires and wheels (mounted) by FedEx for $38.00 back in 2006. They went from Michigan to Florida. Make sure he is shipping ground and not air for starters and of course SF to Niagara would be more due to it's a different shipping zone but it's hard to imagine prices could have gone up that much in six years.,

Why can't you set up a business account if you want one??

Yeah this is ground. Air is 800-1000 for the set.

RE: account, I don't want one. I need access to one for a one time use.

Greyhound seems to be the best bet. 60 bucks per pair. That's closer to what tirerack would charge.
