Hot For Teacher's close friend has an old Volvo grille that she found in some of her late husband's things. It was very important to her late husband, therefore it is important to her, and therefore it is important to me.
She wants to find someone who has a Volvo that it fits to whom she can sell/give it. (unclear)

I'm no Volvo expert but I think it kind of looks like this plastic (I think) single round headlamp 242 but I can't explain the metal?
In no Volvo expert; but it looks older than a single-round 242. I'm grasping at straws here, but my guess is Duett/PV.
No diagonal stripe. Missing parts, or not Volvo.

I think that you are correct.

Word in from my Volvo buddy...PV grille insert for sure. He wasn't sure if it is PV444 or PV544.
I think it's a PV grill, as mentioned above, but I also think that we're looking at the back side of it in her photo.

OK, so I'm the Volvo guy who forgot the only grille that doesn't have the diagonal. In my defense, it should have, just for tradition.

Could the guy around here who tightly balled up a PV a while back use it? :) Or is that car beyond repair?
