There were some shenanigans with Vipers. People sent them to Hennessey to get turned into super awesome Vipers and it took too long. They decided to just pick them up and be done with it but found that parts of their cars weren't actually there and had in fact been sold by Hennessey. Or so the story goes. The internet and some lawyers got involved. The rest is hearsay and legend.
The Kennedy Moon Speech! I first heard it when I watched "Years of Lightning, Days of Drums" narrated by Gregory Peck, its one of the best speeches of all time, makes me long for the America that once was.....oh, the car is cool too.

The rate that thing accelerated is mind blowing. 1 & 2 were useless as you could hear the tires just getting blown off.
Very Shelby in the approach. Take a little car and put a big motor in it.
