I have three different ones. Not too bad to get ahold of. S4 or S5? Hatch or vert?

Nice! I used to have that kit. AMT was bigger into the annual releases than Revell or Monogram. Round 2 owns AMT now and had been doing a fantastic job reissuing the older kits. I suggest picking up an issue of Scale Auto so you can see all the kit advertisers. It's easy cheaper to buy direct than on ebay.

Not looking in the right places. Try Hobby Link Japan. They sell Aoshima kits, who most definitely make Corolla wagons.
I have 4 Elky models in the rear window of my '60 El Camino.
Unfortunately, they are all '59's. I've never seen a model of a '60.
I've done it twice and, oddly enough, I just found them in the attic this morning. I'll have to get some photos.

It seems the Saab 900 got the same love from the modeling world based on my searches yesterday.
I did see some MK1 Rabbit models though- for more than I could pay for them right now.

There is a black 87+ C900 sedan in 1/43:
I've bought a couple cars from this seller.
Here is my father in laws 33 Vicky replica.

as to models of my car... they are NOT easy to come by... and usually cost a great deal of $$$$ (usually over $50, and frequently over $100)
This one is $180!
I think i'm just about ready to start gluing things.
The yellow one on the other side of the table is my lady's. She wasn't about to let be build something without her. So she picked out a Buick GSX. It's going pretty well, considering she's never built one before.
It's been many years since I've built one, so the ASA is sort of my warm up. The Iroc is coming air mail from down unda, and should be here in a few weeks. Since the kit is so hard to come by I'll build this one as a "finished future" and keep hunting for another kit to mod as a "how I got it kit.
I've ordered a stock car to kit bash wheels and roll cage parts from. Maybe the exhaust too. I just need to find a Grand National to gank the motor from...

I'm not great at talking people out of things.
Maybe you should talk to my friend Mr Hamilton...
I too have been fascinated with finding a model of the project I was building. Let me see if I can get this posting of photos to work. The first example was the rarest: while building a replica of the 1919 Briggs & Stratton Motorwheel, Then I found a replica I ended up buying another one on ebay.
If you own a Japanese car of nearly ANY infamy, look up the tamiya model for it. They even have one for my obscure-as-hell celica.
I like to get Matchbox cars of all my vehicles at a minimum. And I ended up building a car in part BECAUSE of a model This thing put me over the edge on building the Seven. That's probably the title for the donor in the background of this picture.
As for actual replicas of my own car, I built this forever ago. A fairly sporty little Tamiya RC version, complete with matching windshield banner and stripes. I have rolled this one far more times than I rolled the full size.
It even showed up in Road&Ster magazine. You can probably guess which one is my 1:1 version.
In reply to Trackmouse:
Aoshima and Fujimi make many obscure Japanese cars as well. There's a Fujimi Toyota Cavalier I've been trying to get but I haven't seen one for under $100 yet which is more than I can spend with on a model of a $500 car.
There is a Hot Wheels model of my car, but it's the wrong color, so I didn't buy it.
I guess I could always paint it white.
In reply to jstein77:
The new 2017 version is white with graphics. You can take the graphics odd by rubbing them with mineral spirits.

I believe it was Abe Lincoln who couldn't tell a lie...
Super Troopers quotes notwithstanding, I'll take $10 for the GNX no problem. I also have a few other Camaro and Buick models I'd be willing to let go of, including a 4th Gen Trans Am Camaro that would be a good source for the wheels/tires, cage parts, fuel cell, etc. There's a model car show at the World of Speed Museum in February that you should go to if you want to find a bunch of old and rare kits for cheap, they have a huge swap meet!
What is this world of speed you speak of? Methamphetamines?
We'll have to find a time and get together, once I'm able to drive again that is...

It's a world class museum in Wilsonville! I'll email the details of the museum and the model show. My neck is also broken right now, maybe we can meet up in the rehab section at OHSU? (Come to think of it, both of our cars run ORSCCA CAM, too... I hope there's nobody else in the class with a fragile neck...)
I'm actually way north of you in the NWRSCCA. We run events in Bremmerton and Packwood. We've got our respective bobblehead markets cornered.
CAM-C is pretty soft up here. 1 or 2 cars. CAM-T had two dudes dual driving a third gen camaro for 2 events, then never showing up again. and CAM-S... there's nothing.
We also have a regional EV class for plug in and hybrid vehicles. Nobody has taken that bait yet, but I see you have a Prius...
You'll need to log in to post.
