Not mine, no affiliation, not Challenge friendly...I'm only posting this because people always bring up the 912E thinking that it's a cheap way into the aircooled Porsche world.

First of all, they only made about 2100 of these things, so you don't exactly stumble upon them.

Second, the part about "1 of 500 with the Turbo Fine (sic)" in this ad is horseE36 M3. That's a much later Turbo tail and decklid that was added later. It's a foolish addition to this car.

Third, those seats are from a different car. Either a 944 or an '85+ 911.

Fourth, this car is overpriced by about 50%.

Love the spray-bomb fender flare stone guard (without the Turbo flares)...

Ew.

There was a very nicely restored to original one at Mecum in Indy, and I don't think it even brought more than 10k......

In that condition, that car might be worth 4-5k, pending if everything worked/ran/drove ok.....

Honestly, the 10.5k asking price would be about right for a 930T in that condition.......

Find me a 930T in that condition for $10.5k. I'll buy it. You know me. You know i'm dumb enough to. Make it happen.

lol, I missed out on a $3000 '71 911 that was in the middle of a restoration awhile back......everything was there, bodywork done, engine/trans rebuilt, just needed everything put back together.

I've seen "Nice in pictures" 930T's for the 16-20k range before too.......I lust for one badly, but I know the widowmaker would kill me.

912s are best with no spoiler at all. They are meant to be lightweight and "cheap" cars that are easy to drive and maintain.

I once had a chance to buy a blue one.. I am sorry I didn't

I want to say 70's 911's look good with white letter tires ala the black targa from The Gumball Rally, but that picture is making me wonder if I'm incorrect.

I also see someone has very helpfully hidden interior parts in the trunk and the tail still says "turbo" on it. How nice!

It appears to be leaking a little oil...

The raised letter all-season tires really help to capture the true sporting nature.

Now that I look at it, the car in Gumball didn't have raised letters, at least when this shot was taken;

Turbo 912E? Oh, I see the turbo now... it's in the top left. Above the carburetor.
