First off, I swear on the Church of Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration that I have absolutely no investment in this.
Besides the fact that if enough people buy one, we'll all get some kick-ass shirts. I've been watching this on Facebook, and the guy making these is using Kickstarter, where if enough people pledge to buy a shirt, he'll make a run of shirts. It's a good idea for a small company, and it's worked well in the past.

Think about it, and do what you will. I just really want this shirt, so I'm trying to help make it a reality.
So it's all about cars who don't finish?
This is Gearhead Shirts, he also did the "Save The Stick" T-Shirt.
He has it posted in the Vendor Playground section. Sorry, but it's too Brotatoe for me.

Looks like the driver was using street tires, not R-comps.
It's a cool shirt that makes a statement. About what, I don't know..........
Pledged. I <3 the Kickstart. Lots of cool stuff there.
Oh and I facebooked about it, too.

You're just mad 'cause it looks like your avatar. j/k
I do like his designs though.
Considering I took the picture in my avatar and it's my image? No.
My issue is the D.N.eff writing. The cones indicate a simple "+2" even if the skid marks are everywhere. DNF would have been ok too, but I don't wear anything with Brotatoe speak on it.

Dude, I'm just kidding around and generally giving you a hard time.
No worries.
Wow. My apologies for being to "brotatoe" Never heard that term before but I do enjoy it.
So I know we're all EXPERT autocrossers here... but there are folks out there who aren't so hot. Most of those folks tend to not take it all so seriously and have a good time anyway. Let's just say this shirt is for them.
Besides... eff is a little more palatable to the general public than the four letter word it represents.
Thanks to the supporters so far. Hopefully we'll get this sucker made.

I like your other stuff, even bought the Miata is the Answer shirt. This one is just not my mug of beer.
I hear ya. There will be others :)

What the hell is brotatoe?
If I could sell a shirt to either of those last two guys and get them to wear it on TV... I'd never have to use kickstarter to fund a project again :)
I like it. Goes with the theme of my previous vehicles-
Oh, badass, I didn't realize he posted on here. I saw this on FB and forgot where I saw about his stuff in the first place.
-
It's been posted by an unrelated third party, who's obviously not making any money off of the deal. He's simply showing us a cool thing he found.
-
The maker is a friendly guy who has a history on GRM of providing cool shirts.
-
It's not annoying (IMHO)
-
Brotatoe was used, and the thread defined it, making it a valuable contribution to the collective GRM brain.
-
I want a shirt.
Keep in mind I have no authority, power, knowledge, responsibility, etc. over/for anything on this site. The powers that be probably have other, more reasonable, reasons for allowing this.

How is that? I like their concept.

Who's.. concept? I'm officially confused.
On a completely unrelated not, Tom, I just added you on Facebook.

How is this not spam?
Because it's posted by an user who is a regular here, and has no affiliation with the seller.
The seller is an advertiser, so his posts appear in the advertiser playground area.
If either of the above weren't true, this thread would be gone. As it is, I'm hoping it will kinda die down and move back to the vendor's posts in the Advertiser Playground forum.
