There is enough space to do this and safely. Next to putting in a i.r.s this is the least expensive way to get the rear end more supple,less binding from the Polly bushes  I have in my trailing arms I have now.i have designed a i.r.s on paper,I could build it just finding the correct axles for each side.is the challenge. If I had a data base on cv axled9,that would help

What diameter are the bushing bores? Might something like a Johnny Joint be adapted to work, or maybe even build new arms specifically to use them? Think spherical encased in poly.
