Driving home from work--I think it was yesterday, but maybe it was Monday--I was behind a silver-ish NB Miata with a hardtop and what looked like a Hard Dog Double-Diagonal roll bar. I thought that was cool

I've seen things like that a few time around here. I think to myself, "Now there's a guy who knows."
A lot of the Miatas I see locally are modded. It doesn't hurt that I live a few minutes from RSpeed.
I saw a few miatae yesterday but none were modified.
I was delivering pizza in my rallycross Miata yesterday after getting it running. One guy I delivered to said "I've never seen pizza delivered in a car like that before." Maybe he thought it was cool.
Nice. I haven't seen that one.
There are a LOT of Miatas here in central Florida (especially white NAs). Ones that are done right are harder to find.

Ha. Me, in the rallycross Subaru Impreza wagon....
I was going to the store the other day and was suddenly surronded by Miatas with pretty serious looking rollbars, wide tires and some other interesting bits. And as quickly as they came, they were gone.

Little know fact: 98.7% of all modded Miata owners are ninjas.
Edit: You're probably lucky they left you alive!

I get that alot when I use ours for delivery. Most people think it's pretty cool, and the kids love it!
My friend has delivered pizza in his S2000 a couple of times, apparently no one tipped him those nights.
I would say that 90% of the Miatae I have seen in Ohio are driven by AARP age males, so I figure they "get it" even though the cars aren't usually modded.
Despite the very popular stereotype among douche bags, I very rarely see a female under 40 in the driver's seat of a Miata here.
