Im not sure if I replaced the coil, magneto, or ignition control module on my weedwacker.
In reply to Toyman01 (Forum Supporter) :
Now that I look at the invoice,I was wrong on all 3. Its just an Ignition Module. Which is wierd because I told the guy I needed a coil.

I've sat back and watched this forum go to hell. I've been here awhile. Even longer than my first post. I lurked. I've also sat back and watched this thread in particular. Because I wanted to see how many of the long time members reacted. The long timers used to be real nice, "go with the flow" types. I left here and stopped posting about two years ago. Looks like I'm staying that way. Some of you I'm not surprised at all. For A small percent, I am shocked. You know who you are. When did you guys become the type to belittle and become babies? When did you think you should harass others because of their viewpoint? I'm with this guy that left. Later losers.

Sorry, just not seeing it.
75% of this thread is tongue in cheek BS that usually happens in threads like this.
25% is honest opinion or fact.
Wading through it is part of the fun of hanging out with this crowd.
Where this thread went wrong was it was posted in the Grassroots section. It should have been in the Off Topic section. Then the "serious" forum users wouldn't have seen it.
And if you come in here complaining about what people call things, there is a fair chance that some of it will get bounced back at you. That's just life. I wouldn't expect any different from my best friend.

OP started a "let's blast dumb normies who use technical terms incorrectly" thread while himself using the wrong version of a word, got called on it in jest then wadded up his manties and left. Bye Felicia
In reply to Patrick (Forum Supporter) :
I'm sorry, but... his "manties"...
I've never heard of this phrase, but rest assured it will be amplified forever more from Shadeux.

OP and trackmouse are the same.

So this is the equivalent of kevin durant's burner account on twitter defending kevin durant?

I thought everyone just used 'latest topics'
In reply to ProDarwin :
I do, but there are a few people on here that don't want to sort through the useless drivel that pops up in the Off Topic section. They have stated that they just don't go in there.

I'm with Patrick on this one. Even when it was pointed out nicely, the OP continued. Yeah the whole "needs breaks" thing gets to me once in a while, but really if that's all that life is bothering you with, take a beverage, sit down and count to ten. There's a LOT of people out there dealing with far worse.
You don't make yourself better by tearing others down.

Tom Brady? Isn't he the guy to ask what pressure to run to maximize your grip?
This is a very underappreciated joke. Nicely done :)
I admit to being a grammar Nazi. My parents were Grammar Nazis, and taught us kids to talk good. Thing is that's not anybody else's problem. It's mine.
I end up in all the controversial threads sooner or later, and have been around long enough to see the ones that may get locked going south fairly early.
I do not understand why Capt Butthurt got bent out of shape and quit the whole damn forum. I dont know how that person makes it through a whole day of normal life without having a stroke or committing battery/homicide.
Separate post on purpose, i craigslist a lot and was raised by grammar Nazis and i live in the south, where English is mutilated more than it's spoken correctly and of all the things listed "your" for "you're" is just maddening.
Be careful about "that's not a word" too, "enthused" was not in the dictionary until the 80s or 90s and i still don't agree with Webster's adding it just because so many people said it wrong. Oh, and "whether" does not require "or not",

What confuses me are these ones. If I could make these ones go away, it would be nice, but given we are stuck having threads like these ones,
I just have to deal with these ones without correcting anyone that these types of issues are ones already. 111111
