Integrale
And it's right up the road from me, too!
Buy this, and old Dodge Omni or old VW Rabbit.. Put Omni/VW vin on and register it as a classic car or street rod here in MD (no inspection or emissions). Not like cops will really notice what it is. Just a hot rodded old Rabbit, right? Drive for five years until it is 25 years old and get real title and registration as a clasic car...
Man, good thing I dont have the cash on me now...
um.... isn;t it 28 years old now?
My bad... just looked at the title of the ebay auction and wrote the reply before realising that lancia did not have the delta in 80.. they were still working on the Beta and Gamma.
Still.. I would be tempted to just put it away for a few years, tidy it up, and get it all ready to be a "new" integrale when it becomes legal to drive in 5 years
I saw that yesterday and thought the same thing! Looks like its all there. Not as nice as the black one up for auction but nowhere near the cost, either.
There are some that are titled in the usa. From what I understand they arent really useable, becasue you cant get parts for them here without alot of effort, not even oil filters and stuff like that.

I always like the "I'm listing this for a friend" in Ebay ads.
There are so many things wrong with that ad.
"Ran when shipped but lost oil due to breaking lose in the container and crushing oil cooler. The idiots at the pier drove it around the yard and spun a cam bearing. We have a spare head with complete headset and factory service manual on CD Rom
-Needs a good professional buffing and/or color sand to restore shine (these cars had single stage paint)"
So, it was loose in the container to the point of destroying the oil cooler - but there's no damage to the car other than a broken driving light and turn indicator. So it must have been repainted. But it needs a buff and color sand to restore the shine of the factory paint?
"This car was imported to build up as a shop demo car for my old business which has since been sold and this project hit a dead end."
"It was imported as a parts car to use for off road purposes only"
Umm, yeah. Translation - "I brought it in illegally and I can't figure out how to get it on the road".
"This car was imported to build up as a shop demo car for my old business "
"I am listing this car for a friend who lives out of state."
Uhh, yeah. It was imported for your business, but you're selling it for a friend.
I would buy it for parts... to stick under a beta coupe' or even better.. an HPE.
hmm.. Lancia Beta Integrale sounds good
