I feel your pain! I have a basket case MGA Twin Cam engine (I believe you know a thing or two about them!) that I have been threatening to make into living room furniture (lamp, table, etc.) for the last couple decades. SWMBO does not share my taste in decorating so it remains in a half dozen cardboard boxes in my garage. Maybe one day I will run across a Twinkie that needs an engine and I will try to salvage it. We'll see.
