I hate trying to see the nuisances for seeing an asterisk disappear to register for HRDW 24.
But I'm in!!!
That was a hard pill to swallow to fork out over $500.
Now to fix a broken slipping clutch, modify the exhaust, new wheels and tires, shifter, rear gears installed, digital clutch slipper installed, tune it, and do some testing for the Mustang....
Exwife got in too with her Explorer ST. Now I have to put on my Mustang wheels with new tires, put on new downpipes and exhaust, new intake pipes, a few rear irs pieces/bushings, and retune for hopefully 500whp... I'm probably going to hold off on the nitrous for now. Hoping for a solid 11.5/120 ride for the week with this one.
Congratulations and good luck!

$515. Pretty sure it was 450 in 22 and 450 or 475 last year.
In reply to Ranger50 :
last time I did it was 2021 and it was only 400

Still a "cheap" venture for a week away from home.
What does this Explorer ST have in it? Twin turbo V8?
Cheaper than renting a boat for a week in Hayward, Wisconsin.
And fyi, sick summer is $525. I'm on the waitlist.

Far cheaper than One Lap of America...
I'd still love to do a drag and drive but my car has a blown clutch and a blown turbo...
On my future to do list -- I plan to use my wife's Mustang so that I don't stick out like a sore thumb in a 1990 Miata with 100 horsepower.

Like I said above mine has a severely slipping clutch... the cheapest option besides possibly buying an OE dual mass flywheel and clutch is the McLeod at $1500.... All because the pilot bearing is in the flywheel vs the crank. To put it in the crank requires a new transmission. Thanks Ford.
I just wish I could afford the $1800 single turbo hot side I found..
Edit: $675 for a new flywheel. Oof.

You wouldn't be the only Miata there....
