The Rally Pumpkin developed a CEL problem when I took it to get a resonator added. Pre-2000 Hondas give you a flashing CEL that you are supposed to be able to read.

I am getting 2 slow flashes, a pause, then 3 slow flashes, then 6 quick ones.

If I am reading this right, I think this is 1) The 2nd O2 sensor and 2) Traction Control issue (this is apparently only from JDM ECU's - which, as I understand, my car is using one).

Can anyone confirm if I am reading this right?

I pulled the fuse to clear it and that didn't work. Now I left the battery disconnected for a few days, due to a business trip. Should that clear it?

Rear O2 could have been damaged during exhaust work, they really don't like sudden impacts. The P code an OBD2 scan tool will spit out will tell you in better detail.

My scanner won't read the codes. It powers up but doesn't connect.

Will a us OBD2 reader read codes from a jdm ecu like he is running?

That's something I hadn't considered, I had it in my head that OBD2 was more or less global.

I am assuming a laptop with the hondata software might read it

The PO jumpered the ECU connection to display codes with a switch in the glove box. Cleared the O2 sensor code and turned the switch off. No CEL!!

The code 36 does not turn the CEL on. Will have to see if the O2 sensor one stays off.
