Looking for an engine to drop into a 96 integra. So besides b18b1, what other options do I have? I am thinking a b20 out of a crv might be easier to find and from what I hear they are very interchangeable. You just swap everything from the b18 onto the b20 head and block.
Suggestions welcome.
B20 would be fun.
A B18C should be easy as well, and then you get the VEEEETAAAKKKSSS!!!!
Or combine a B20 bottom end (preferably B20Z) with a B16 head?
Or a B18B bottom end with a B16 head?
Well, of course if I find a b18c in a junkyard for a comparable price, but for right now it looks like a vtec conversion is out of the question.
Oh... if you're junkyard hopping, another B18B is the most likely scenario. I rarely see CRVs in junkyards around here for some reason.
