Oh do I have stories for you! But first you gotta help me get home
Anyone in or near Cincinnati who is willing to help me locate and acquire a 13" tire?? On A Sunday, Father's Day, no less...

Zoom in on pic looks to read size 175-60-13.
Paint/stripe scheme looks to be Fiat X-1/9
That's a pretty fat tire. My first recommendation was going to be to look at trailer tires that some stores like Walmart have in-stock, mounted already on a rim but that likely will be a skinny tire and wont mount to your fat wheel
Another note on Walmart. They will likely have the tire center open so that could be a good place to get something mounted if you find a tire, but... Lets say you source a 13" tire that is somewhat different in size and bring it to Walmart for mounting. You will be best off just bringing a wheel and tire, not the whole car. To keep their liability in check, Walmart might refuse to mount an "odd" tire to your car if it is not a "correct tire size" for your car.
I have no help to offer, but I did pass about 4-5 cars with Power Tour 2018 decals on Rt 35 coming home from the rallycross yesterday, between W Courthouse and Xenia. The low VW Bug-thing looked pretty cool.
You guys are all over my primary options! I have been in contact with wae and he has offered to drive me around getting a tire.
I had the car dropped at the hotel closest to the break down site last night and tried to get some sleep. I plan to haul around only one wheel and tire combo to avoid 100 questions.
After calling multiple Walmarts and spending many eternities on hold, I located a store that actually has the 13" Douglas that is listed in stock at every local store. I checked my local store before leaving on HRPT as a backup plan since I could not carry a spare. I assumed if my store stocked it, most would. I also assumed I could get reasonable service if dealing directly with the Tire Lube Express. I am a fool.
Anyhow, I am out the door to pull this wheel off the car. Hopefully the rest of the morning goes to plan
Good luck!
(Fellow PT long hauler here! Also had a breakdown, with positive results. Wishing you the same)
Well this explains the slapping/knocking I heard.
Tire went down in about three seconds. Just enough time to check gauges as it sounded kinda like the motor was letting go.
I'm guessing the rest of the keys were still attached when I picked them up, slap slap slap, break key off, tire goes down enough to lose the sidewall.
Who'da thunk it? Todays hero drives an NA Miata
I can't leave Blockhead J here alone so, unfortunately, wae is taking the wheel and tire to Walmart for me while we wait
I'm in Dayton, I have a tire machine and a couple 13s floating around, if Wally world falls through, let me know.

Of course, but the real question is did you bring a spare starter and not a spare tire or did you pull it off the car to use as a wheel chock?
And we are rollin! Many thanks to wae!!

I did bring a spare starter, and not a spare tire. There wasn't space in the tiny car for all our gear and a spare tire
In reply to gumby :
I figured as much, it's just a funny concept.
Three cheers for wae coming through in the pinch
Are those 4x100? You should get a Honda Insight spare. They're incredibly tiny and weigh 12lbs TOTAL!
Sounds like 4 PCD nuts and you're set. I'd bet anything a place can be found for that spare in that car.
