make another panel that goes over the front of the gauges and screws to the existing panel, sandwiching the gauges in place... some thin Lexan would work for this, and if you wanted to make it look extra super professional you could paint it black from behind, leaving round holes where the gauges show thru... you can remove the bezels on a lot of gauges to make my idea look even more oem...

+1 on hot glue

A hot glue gun and 2 seconds of your time. It comes off easy enough when you need to remove them later.
