Looks terrific. What specs are you running?
I run 275/35R18s (either NT01s or Toyo RRs) on 18x10s for track days, and (soon) 245/40R18 Hoosier R7s on 18x9.5s for NASA ST4. The Hoosiers need to be on the slightly narrower wheel to fit in the 266mm NASA template.
David S. Wallens said:Thanks. And that all fit without massaging the fenders?
The 275s fit with some rolling. The car was built by a pro race shop, so I'm not sure exactly how much they needed to do for the 275s but it did not require paint work. I believe the 275s also require significant camber to fit -- fine for a race car, but probably too much for a street car.
Later they massaged the fenders some more (which did require paint work) and it will now fit 295/30R18 Toyo RRs, which are significantly cheaper than the 275s for some reason.
I have always liked split 5 spokes. The BBS RK is probably the halo and variations of the c5z wheel were always on my mind. But for some reason they have to be big for the proportions to work in my brain. 18"+
And another one from the BimmerWorld team, currently en route to their SRO season-opener. Wheels are Forgeline GA3R.
My Fikse are really the only ones that beat the original BBS in my book, there is a lot of awesome in this thread though.
I really like the TSW Nurburgring. A buddy of mine ran these on his ZL1 and they were slick looking.
As for stock wheels, I have been really happy with the stock wheels on my 2019 Series Grey (Series White Version Shown Below in Bronze)

Not sure but it's always a pleasure to see such a nice E30. BMW got it so right back then.
In reply to Slippery :
I think split-spokes are a little different than mesh or basket weaves but, really, no wrong answers here.

Those are BBS RK knockoffs

These also look like BBS RK knockoffs.
I can appreciate split spokes, but I never had anything new enough to really have them fit the look. Big ole chunky five spokes for me.
Advan SA3R that 93EXCivic posted above are among my favorites, however, how do you all call yourselves wheel guys when I see not one mention of what is clearly the best split spoke design for Japanese cars, ever, the Blitz Type 03?
Admittedly, it looks a lot like the OEM R33 GT-R wheel, but you can get this one in all sorts of sizes, lip styles, colors, etc... down side is, they're stupid expensive these days. As in, this specific set that's BNIB above, costs about what an ND1 does at the moment. Not joking.
Since I know that we have some MR2 fans around here:
S14 anyone?
