There is no reason there won't be EV Miata's. Forget about range limitations. It will just take readjustment.

Service people will do their paperwork and bid quotes. Etc.
Eventually batteries will be lasting a full day.
Doubt that? Look at history. You used to have to brush the horse after every ride groom it muck out the stalls regularly, feed the horse, put shoes on the horse, fix the saddle and blanket etc. then cars came along and quickly became the transportation method.
