We had the chance to chat with Haywood when we visited the Brumos Collection during a Classic Motorsports Orange Blossom Tour:
Several years ago, during early Daytona testing–likely the Roar but maybe just a test day–I was walking pit road when Hurley motioned to me–you know, like come here. He was suited up and in his helmet.
"Have a good holiday?" he asked.
That's when I knew I kinda made it. :)
