I ordered Body parts from them in 2017 which arrived in not grear shape. I was in a bind and decided to not fight with the shipper or RA.
Thats my only negative experience that involved RA at all. All my parts orders for Hazmat over the past 3 have arrived earlier than promised through Fedex and been accurate.

Only issue that I ever had with RA was a damaged Denso A/C condenser for the Civic. One email with an attached picture later, and they refunded the part cost, no muss, no fuss. Didn’t have to return the part either, just had to hold it for 7 days in case FedEx wanted to see it. Since that was their last one, I ordered another Denso from Amazon. It was completely mangled when it arrived via UPS. More of a PITA to get the refund from Amazon. They had me ship their attempt back via dropoff at Kohls.
Takeaways ... RA continues to treat me well, Amazon is ok but more hassle if there is an issue, Denso packs their A/C condensors like crap.

I had one time a complete powerstop brake kit was wrong and was a pita to get right. Clearly it was someone loaded the shelves with wrong parts and the parts picker just went to "row 27, shelf c, bin 2" and pulled parts without looking at them and then the person boxing it up too missed the mistake.
The only other time was because ford decided to part substitute and it clearly doesn't work for my application but was easily handled.
Bumping this because I had almost the exact same issue. I ordered a powerstop kit for the wife's vehicle back in June, and did the rears which needed it asap. I decided this weekend was a good time to finish off the fronts, and discovered after everything was apart that RA sent the completely wrong front rotors (wrong pn confirmed). Sure, I could have checked the pn on the box for the front rotors only, but the rears were fine...
Anyone ever have any luck getting them to make right their eff-up after 30 days? It's completely and obviously their fault on the order fullfilment end. I was not pleased to discover that they don't do phone calls anymore. In the meantime I'm stuck with her vehicle inop.
I've had great luck with them. I also tend to only order things are are direct OEM replacements made by the original supplier (I.e. Denso coils and 02 Sensors for a Toyota).
I've also returned parts without issue as well and gotten a full refund. I.e. they sent me a window motor without a female connector and got my money back within a week.
In reply to maschinenbau :
I want the green Gremlin magnet! please send it to me.
It's for my sister as that was her first car and the same color.
I've ordered a pile of stuff for multiple vehicles and been happy with all of it. I go to them when I want name brand stuff for decent prices. If I just want whatever rebuild someone sticks in a box, I go to Amazon.
As I posted in my build thread earlier today, RockAuto just screwed up on me for the first time:

@ the OP. I would have approached RA before posting here. RA still may make things good but at the moment RA is getting hammered with out being given a chance to make it right.
I couldn’t disagree more. If we were talking about Joe Smith selling parts out of his kitchen, someone with actual feelings and emotion, I would agree. Give him a chance to make it right. RA is a corporate entity. And not a small one. I don’t care what the SCOTUS’ opinion is, it’s not a person and doesn’t deserve any of the respect or withholding of judgement that another human being should be afforded. And don’t start with the drivel about how they have employees and yadda yadda...
There are also some positive RA experiences noted here. Very relevant thread regardless of whether or not RA has had the chance to make it right. Continue please.
I ordered a wiper blade from them like, two weeks ago, and it's just disappeared.
At the time, I thought, let's support this company that is not Amazon.
We'll see if they make it right!

I've ordered thousands of dollars in parts from them over the years. I could have a fridge full of those magnets too....if i kept them. I've had one incorrect part sent to me....ever. Took one email, with a couple photos and they got the correct parts sent out right away. They also covered the cost of return shipping for the wrong part. It was inconveinient but they handled it well, and im still a happy customer. I can't beat the prices anywhere else.
I have no problem holding RA's feet to the fire in a public forum. I, too, have ordered many, many parts from them with no issue. The bearing pictured above is the first wrong part they've sent me in I don't know how long. Turns out, those bearings are for the front, so I'm not going to return them, I'm just going to hang on to them and do the fronts later.
