They are an interesting historical footnote as Chrysler owned Maserati and Lamborghini briefly and the TC was the only commercially known result of those marriages. The Daytona powered by a Lamborghini V10 drivetrain was just an engineering exercise. There was an article about it though.
There's supposedly another commercial result: Chrysler evidently sent Lamborghini's engineering department the blueprints to the iron truck V10 and had them rework it to make the Viper motor.
I remember seeing a Wagoneer with a lamborghini motor in a car museum somewhere - supposedly was a chrysler engineering exercise from back then. What an awesome thing that would have been.
Achh! Horrid cars. Ironically there is one decsribed as a "HOT sports machine" (which you'd think would entail it being abe to out accelerate a modern Civic, but...). They want $18,000 dollars for it and are advertising it as a 1989 Maserati TC.....

I have craigslist searches saved (with email alert!) for all the different ways of describing these cars. I've come close to the right deal but not close enough... yet..![devil devil](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/devil_smile.png)
What fun is a Maserati that starts every morning?
