2007 @ 190k miles.

I stopped reading after that.

I drove a Honda from new to 155,000 miles.

I cut the Honda oil filter label off the cellophane and taped it inside the owners manual and recorded date and mileage.

When the first looker saw it he was pumped knowing I changed the oil often and his buddy instantly told him to buy it.

I started a log book when I got my Miata. I usually have two cars and most of my receipts are from my work place and have items for both cars. I toss them in my general purchase history folder. When I sold my Ram I looked through my papers and scribbled down a list of all the work from the last 3 years. That was enough to impress the buyer.

When I bought my 86 hardbody I got a box full of receipts, all original manuals and paperwork, manuals for all aftermarket parts, a chiltons manual, a dealer repair manual, and six keys. Everyone has a car they regret selling, that one is mine.

Thanks for the feedback!  A few comments:

for online orders, there's typically a confirmation email that I could reference if needed.  Not sure when or why I quit keeping the paper invoice that comes with the parts.

taking pic of receipt/invoice?  Damn Suprf1y, I wish I had thought of that!

Sure, Dates and mileages can be faked.  Photos of new parts sitting on top of this engine, with date stamps that match the logbook entries?  The few i posted are just examples.  I have them for *every* part RnR, along with a pic of the Dash with date and mileage matching the parts pic and the logbook entry.

oil consumption:  not 2 qts in 1500.  Only 1 qt in 1500.  That 1st qt had to replace oil that was added at some previous mileage, yes?  One of the CCV hoses has a small leak.

like I said, it's my DD and I'm not trying to sell it.  I keep the logbook for me, so I don't have to remember stuff.  Mostly I was just looking for possible improvements to what I track and how I track it.

I tack my oil filter box tops to the wall above the workbench with the date and mileage, so i know when to change again, but i only keep the last one. Plus it makes it easier to get the correct filter next time for things that arent easy to look up like my 60 year old tractor or swapped cars.
