Wifes daily is the exact car minus the drop and spiffy wheels.
Neuspeed power module gave a cheap power bump and its been a rock solid vehicle so far.
1966 Fury III 9 passenger. I have the original window sticker, where the first owner optioned 4 seatbelts. I guess the other passengers didn't matter.
1967 Falcon with a few mods.
Nearly bought one of those Golf / Jetta wagons, except for some daft reason you could only get the TDI with a vinyl interior, and many of the examples were already having the vinyl cracking. So I ended up with a Passat TDI (and leather interior) instead.
Oddly, as much as I like wagons, I've never owned one.
I'd been pretty happy with my wagon game until the day before the Challenge when an electronic module in this beast shat the bed and it's lived at the shop ever since. I'd like it back but hope is fading.

Well it's not much but here's mine enjoying the Mojave Desert.
Not perfect, but fun to daily drive, and I've gotten a full set of wheels in the car with the back seat folded.

That Alltrack in the first post is almost identical to my father's (minus the lowering and wheels). It died in the Hurricane Ida flooding in NYC. I only drove it a few times, but it was pretty good. His had whatever the top package was (SEL?) that had better seats and the DSG. I would have gone for the lower trim with the manual, but that's me.
Replaced with an Audi Q3, which is probably better for him, but far less interesting to me.
My wagon game is just fine! This one has been in the fleet for 10 years, and will only get replaced if it gets crashed. That is a Chevron F.Atlantic chassis in the cargo aea....
Mine is not great. Only two I would consider are a VW Squareback and a Willys Wagon.
Wagon doing wagon things last week. This was after unhitching the trailer. Three people, two dogs, ski's and equipment in the top box and there was trailer full of furniture stuff. Still cruises at 75mph with pushing 20mpg. 325hp and 350lb/ft with virtually no lag makes it a great Q ship. Who needs a hillbilly pick-em-up truck when you can do more with better comfort, better economy and can still carve corners?

I've loved Audi quattro wagons, have had a string of them while they still had MT. Hopefully getting a new to me wagon in a few months

At the risk of opening up a can of worms, how long does the rear side glass behind the doors need to be in order to consider it a wagon and not a 5-door hatchback?
For the Miata in Volvo clothing shown above, what makes is a wagon, whereas a 2-door VW Golf is a hatchback?
