I had a vehicle towed with the shifter out of the transmission and it sprayed gear oil all over the interior, luckily the vehicle is a racecar and as such has very little interior. What sayeth the hive mind as to how to clean it without causing more damage?
Superclean,a garden hose, and some febreeze for the stink.
Simple green, unless it's buried in cloth. In my uses it never did any damage, wipes up nice and clean, smells piney fresh
Oil eater - it works great and you can breathe it and it's not nasty to touch.
I love simple green. It's so gentle yet effective and the stuff in it is not bad. I'd try that first then move on to other products if it doesn't work.
