Came home to Michigan for a few days to take care of some family business and decided to take some of the parts I have, after moving away 6 years ago, here still home.
I didn't think I had this many transmissions...
Yes, NINE of them... Almost feel like I should just open a transmission repair business with all of the ones I have....
I only have 1 trans axle and 1 short block.
Hopefully you have all those autotragics for the same reason I have a bunch of Quadrajets...
I have one non-functioning short block and no trans. I'll make a coffee table....
And that doesn't even cover a quarter of what I have already dragged south.....
This makes me feel better about all of the crap I have piled up.

Yeah, the stupid crap we hold on to. I have a 2-piece header for a Jeep 4.2L even though if I ever get another Jeep it'll get a diesel swap. But they look cool on the wall. Then there's the 1,543 miles of wire I keep on hand because it saves dozens of pennies a year since i don thave to buy much wire
SO ARE YOU GOING TO BE THE NEXT TO PUT UP A "HELP ME CLEAN OUT MY GARAGE" AD?
Two transmissions of the RX-7 variety, one T56 for a LT1, one SBC short block, one SBC marine engine with the entire outdrive assembly, one AC VW engine, one 12A rotary, one 500cc Yamaha, and lest we forget, enough parts to build two 1950 John Deere bulldozers (engines, transmissions, tracks, rollers, frames, etc.
I'm sure there is other junk I forgot.
Damn toyman.... let's not forget the 10x10 storage unit full almost 4' high all the way around with more transmissions, various Ford 302/351 performance parts, and Chrysler parts.
Bah. Those are just parts, and hardly take up any room at all. Currently, I have a Neon IT2 car, a Neon ministock, a Neon rally car, 2 stock Neons repaired and ready for sale, one more that needs 4 or 5 hours to finish it, and one parts Neon.
Now for General Motors- Grand Am, Silverado, Optra, Camaro.....

2 transmissions
2.5 motors
I guess I need to catch up I just have a few VW transmissions, a Prizm Transmission, a ZC transmission and one rebuilt 1.6 rabbit engine that I can think of off the top of my head. Doesn't count the to presently non operative Rabbits in the yard and the beetle in the garage all needing work of some sort.
Thank you, gentlemen! I feel better about what's in my garage now. I've only got a 327, a 13BT, and an RX-7 Turbo II tranny along with the usual assorted junk. My wife would kill me long before I ever got NINE transmissions in there.

I have 5 transmissions. They're all attached to running and driving cars. Spare sets of wheels on the other hand........
hmm only have 3 trannies kicking around... 2 sitting under the work bench (one needs to replace a funky shifting/slipping one in my volvo) another backup for the s10 volvo truck thing and another manual gearbox I want someone to buy lol..
I think I have at least 5 transmissions in the shed. Two 318 V8s, one 5.9 Magnum V8. At least one rear in the shed too. Won't even begin to think about all the other parts.
There's a disassembled LA 360 along with an assembled 360 Maggie, assembled 318, and another transmission in the house garage.
There's a couple more transmissions, engine block or two, and a complete 400 big block in the rental garage along with several rears and rear center sections. I think a couple transfer cases too.
None of that counts the driveline still sitting in the parts truck, or in any complete running vehicles too.
I thought that was normal?

LOL. All I need is at least one TorqueFlite to make it all fair.....
Anybody have an AOD they don't want taking up space anymore?
