Well, impulsiveness strikes again!!!

I had been eyeing this listing for a few weeks, but never really looked in to location since Im in GA and it said TN.

My little brother and I were talking in the car 2 nights ago about how he would like a project car but doesn't see it feasible, he's about to turn 18. I go to bed browsing fb marketplace for project cars, and send him this ad before i fall asleep.

The next evening, we are an hour and 40 minutes away from home with it on the trailer!

It runs (sorta), drives, stops, I paid $700, and its gonna go to the challenge in 2021. I have tasked my brother with creating a nice detailed build thread, and keeping a strict budget. So look out for the build thread, let's see where this goes!!

That is awesome can't wait to see the build thread. My son's first car was an E30, he still talks about it. That looks pretty solid for $700

A little rough around the edges, but with 371,000 miles on it that's to be expected.  smiley  E28s will run forever, mine only has about 230k on the odometer.

400,000 km/250,000 miles here, I regularly flog it around race tracks and autocross courses. Engine has just had oil changes and valve adjustments in that time. Rough around the edges won't prevent you from having a fun with it, looks like you are off to a decent start in the build thread.

You'll need to log in to post.
