Does anyone near central Mass want to help out with a challenge car? I only have a few items left to take care of, but I could really use an extra set of hands for some things.

My biggest remaining task is taking care of some motor mounts and a few underhood issues. This should be easy but it would be a lot easier with some help and maybe an engine hoist. Anyone have a spare hoist available to loan?

Basically, I am becoming exhausted dealing without having any place to work, no one to help out and very few tools. If anyone is looking to get their hands dirty please get in touch and we can talk details.

I'm busy the next few weekends but I could help out after that. I do have an engine hoist and floor jack that I could bring to you if that's easier.

Did the new bushings make a difference?

Yes, very much so! No more harsh vibration at partial throttle! Thanks again for helping out, especially through the downpour.... I own you one.

If I weren't so far behind on my own Challenge car I'd help out.

Let me know if there is anything I can help out with. I should be just about finished mechanically by the end of the month and have plenty of free time.

If you are not in a huge rush I can come up from the south shore in a few weeks. I will be in NH next week camping, but after that I may have a bit of free time(what is that when you have two kids?). I am not the most knowledgable person when it comes to working on cars, but I am pretty good at turning a wrench, and willing to help.

I really appreciate the offer, but for now I am in good shape. We got a lot done last weekend and I am really only a week or two away from finishing the rest of the big stuff.

There is still plenty of time left for me to break something else, at which point I will resume begging for help.

Awesome I'll definitely keep that in mind. Glad you are so close to finishing. Greg is always great help...I just wish he lived closer to where my car is.

We should turn this into the New England Challenge thread! I just picked up a Challenge car of my own over the weekend, but it's gonna be a couple of years before it goes down there. We might need some help on Pseudosport's Miata soon, so maybe we'll see some of you guys soon!

I agree, anyone local who needs help on a challenge car shouldn't hesitate to ask for it.

Your new challenge car has a ton of potential and really isn't that far gone. Do not let it sit too long...

Yeah, the plan is to get it running soon and start putting it around. It won't be sitting for too long. I want to drive it!

I cannot wait to get this thing finished to see what she can do.

I want to have the brakes done by next weekend so I can go watch the lemons @ stafford in peace. I will start checking the schedules for august and september events; be sure to let me know about anything too good to miss.
