hardtops are available, the issue is they are as much as the car. you are looking at 2500-3k for a hardtop.

I believe the hard tops were never imported here by Toyota. So when you can find one, somebody has imported it themselves.
Oem hard tops are the best and they're $2500-3000
To my knowledge, they were sold at the parts dept in us stores. But with the cost, few elected to purchase them so they're rare in the second hand market. Frustratingly, this car had one before I purchased it but before I got it the top had been sold separately.
the vis ones are rumored to fit poorly and dont come with rear windows or wind seals iirc, so that complicates things and adds much expense.
Just makes me feel better that I don't have much use for one now lol.
