My friend Mark Mangicaro started a podcast over the offseason to discuss various autocross topics, including PAX and the various classes, and when he needed a guest to discuss the SCCA's Xtreme Street classes, he gave me a ring, since I've been competing in the class for the past two seasons.
Also, sorry for the kind of garbage audio on my end. I had a mic headset but it was giving weird echoes, so we ended up recording with me just using the mic on my laptop and the sound quality is meh
I compete at least a few times per month with various clubs. I'm always looking for autocross related material.
I've been listening to these, they're good. I haven't heard your interview yet, it's up next in my feed. Looking forward to it.

Mark is a college teacher and has some radio background (his wife is a big local radio celebrity), so he's got the good basis for running a podcast, plus he runs in a ton of different regions in the northeast (CNY, Finger Lakes, Southern NY, Watkins Glen Region, Mohawk-Hudson Valley, North East PA, among others) so he has a lot of good connections to have as guests. After we recorded we talked about doing an episode on tires, not sure if he'll do it or if I'll be on that one, but tires is a topic I love discussing. His worry was that he was afraid he'd make some comment on one tire being good or bad and get a bunch of pissed off comments from people but I just said that as long as you aren't saying stuff like "If you autocross on R-S4s, you're an idiot and deserve to be last" you should be fine.
